The short version: this website doesn't ask you for personal information, doesn't run advertising trackers, and doesn't sell data — because we're a farm shop, not a data company.
Who we are
This website is operated by Churston Traditional Farm Shop, Dartmouth Road, Brixham, Devon TQ5 0LL. For anything relating to this policy, call us on 01803 845837 or write to us at the address above.
What this website collects
Almost nothing. The site has no contact forms, no user accounts, no newsletter sign-up and no advertising or analytics trackers. If you telephone us, we use the details you give us only to respond to you — for example, to take a hamper order or answer a question.
Hosting
The site is hosted by Vercel Inc. Like virtually all web hosts, Vercel keeps short-lived technical server logs (such as IP addresses and browser types) for security and reliability. We do not use these logs to identify visitors. Vercel’s own privacy policy is available at vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.
The map on our Visit page
Our Visit page embeds a Google Map so you can find us. When that page loads, your browser connects to Google, which may process your IP address and set its own cookies under Google’s privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy). See our Cookies Policy for more.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law (UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018) you have rights over personal data we hold about you — including access, correction and erasure. Because this site collects so little, that will usually just mean emails or order notes you have sent us. To exercise any right, contact us using the details above. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
Changes
If the website gains new features (such as a contact form) we will update this policy to match before they go live.
